Signal Circuit Inspection

IG Key "ON", Engine "ON".
Perform "Oscilloscope" procedure in the "Diagnosis" with GDS as follows.
Set WIPER & MIST SWITCH up "INT (Auto)".
Measure the Signal Waveform between "RAIN SENSOR_LIN LINE" terminal of "BCM" harness connector and chassis ground.

Does the measured Signal Waveform follow the Reference Data?
YES
- Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.
- Repair or replace as necessary, go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- If the voltage of measured Signal Waveform is the battery voltage level (about 12V),
  → Check LIN line short to battery.
  
  → Check LIN line open/poor connection.
- If the voltage of measured signal waveform is the ground voltage level (about 0V), check LIN line short to ground.
