Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2005 Pontiac G6. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

  1. Install the wiper motor. Refer to Wiper Motor Replacement (Legacy) .
  2. Connect the electrical connector to the wiper motor.
  3. Connect the clip retaining the electrical harness to the wiper module.

  5. Position the wiper module assembly into the plenum.
  6. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  7. Install the fasteners attaching the wiper module assembly to the plenum.

    Tighten:  Tighten the fasteners to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  8. Install the air inlet grille panel. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement in Body Front End.
  9. Install the wiper arms. Refer to Wiper Arm Replacement (Legacy) .
  10. Inspect the washers for proper operation.
