Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2013 Cadillac CTS. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  1. Position the new escutcheon to the trim panel and install the screws (1,2). Tighten the screws to 2 (18 lb in).

  3. Ensure the switch bezel is installed with the one-way locating feature (1) positioned as shown.

  5. Install bezel by pushing it onto the escutcheon from the front side of the trim panel.

  7. Ensure that the switch is centered in the opening of the bezel, and test the push/return action of the buttons prior to installing the trim panel.

  9. Install the memory switch and 2 screws (1)that secure the memory switch to the escutcheon. Tighten the screws to 2 (18 lb in).
  10. Install the driver door panel trim. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Coupe) , Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement (Sedan, Wagon) .
