July 1: So it begins. Don't worry, this is not in the correct legal jurisdiction!

Installation Procedure

  1. Guide the seat belts through the slots in the seat. Install the seat to the vehicle.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in GM VEHICLES CAUTIONS & NOTICES article.
  2. Install the seat mounting bolts.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the seat mounting bolts to 70 N.m (52 lb ft).

  3. Install the seat mounting nuts.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the seat mounting nuts to 45 N.m (33 lb ft).

  4. Connect the electrical connectors, if equipped.
  5. Install the seat adjuster trim covers. Refer to SEAT ADJUSTER TRACK COVER REPLACEMENT - FRONT (POWER)  or SEAT ADJUSTER TRACK COVER REPLACEMENT - FRONT (MANUAL) .
  6. Connect the battery negative cable.
