Window Regulator: Removal

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable.
  2. Remove door trim panel. Refer to DOOR TRIM PANEL  .
  3. Remove water deflector. Refer to WATER DEFLECTOR  .
  4. Disconnect door lock linkage.
  5. Remove door module and glass. Refer to DOOR MODULE  .
  6. Remove window, bend the tab down on the window run channel to slide the door glass, from the regulator roller assembly. See Figure and Figure .
  7. Remove regulator assembly rivets.
  8. Remove regulator and motor as a unit.
