6.2L Diesel engine with light duty emissions uses Diesel Electronic Control (DEC) system. DEC system consists of Electronic Control Module (ECM), input devices and output signals. DEC system electronically controls EGR system operation, Torque Converter Clutch (TCC) engagement, cold advance and glow plug system.
