Climate Control Housing: Disassembly

Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
Air Inlet Housing
- Remove the climate control housing. Refer to: Climate Control Housing .

NOTE: Use caution when releasing tabs, only pry enough to release or tabs may break.
- Remove the screws and pinch the tabs.
- Lower the cabin air filter door, and remove the cabin air filter..
- Release the tabs and remove the air inlet housing.
Blower Motor Housing
- Remove the retainers and the passanger side footwell duct.
- Remove the retainers and the driver side footwell duct.

NOTE: If equipped.
Remove the retainers and the rear duct.
- Remove the retainers and the blower motor control module.

NOTE: If equipped.
Disconnect the electrical connector.

- Remove the foam seals
- Remove the retainers and the thermostatic expansion valve.
Torque
: 8 Nm
- Remove the retainer and the heater core support bracket.

NOTE: If equipped.
Remove the retainers, release the tab and remove the heater core cover.
- Remove the heater core.

NOTE: Use caution when releasing tabs, only pry enough to release or tabs may break.
Release the tabs and remove the blower motor housing.
Evaporator Cover

NOTE: Use caution when releasing tabs, only pry enough to release or tabs may break.
- Remove the foam seal.
- Position aside the evaporator tempreature sensor harness.
- Remove the retainers.
- Release the tabs and remove the evaporator cover.
Air Distribution Housing
- Remove the evaporator.
- Air distribution housing.
