Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU): Installation

  1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
  2. Using a diagnostic scan tool, complete the PMI process for the ABS module following the on-screen instructions.
  3. Bleed the brake system. Refer to: Brake System Pressure Bleeding - Vehicles With: Vacuum Brake Booster .
  4. Carry out the ABS Calibration and the HCU Solenoid Calibration service functions following the diagnostic scan tool on-screen instructions.
