Cruise Control Module (CCM): Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.NOTE: If installing a new CCM, it is necessary to upload the module configuration information to the scan tool prior to removing the module. This information must be downloaded into the new CCM after installation.
Using a diagnostic scan tool, begin the PMI process for the CCM following the on-screen instructions.
- Remove the front bumper cover. Refer to: Front Bumper Cover

Cruise control module (CCM)
- Disconnect the CCM electrical connector.
- Separate the grommets and remove the CCM.
- Inspect the grommets for damage.
- Replace any damaged grommets.
Cruise control module (CCM) bracket
- Disconnect the CCM electrical connector.
- Remove the CCM an bracket assembly.
- Remove the rear bolt.
Torque: 71 lb.in (8 Nm)
- Remove the front bolts.
Torque: 71 lb.in (8 Nm)
- Position the CCM and bracket assembly to the left and down to release the assembly from the bumper.
- Remove the rear bolt.
