Driver Door Module (DDM): Removal

NOTE: If available as a selection on the diagnostic scan tool, this step is required.

NOTE: If installing a new DDM, it is necessary to upload the module configuration information to the scan tool prior to removing the DDM. This information must be downloaded into the new DDM after installation.

If installing a new DDM, upload the module configuration information from the DDM into the scan tool by following the scan tool on screen instructions.
Remove the front door trim panel. Refer to: Front Door Trim Panel .
Disconnect the electrical connectors.

Remove the retainers and the DDM.
