The courtesy lamps flash on and off	The BCM is not configured correctly	This symptom is present due to incomplete or improper PMI procedures. REPEAT/PERFORM the PMI procedure as directed by the scan tool. Refer to: Module Configuration - System Operation And Component Description .
The courtesy lamps do not illuminate with a door open	Refer to the Pinpoint Test	GO to Pinpoint Test A
One or more interior courtesy lamps are inoperative	Refer to the Pinpoint Test	GO to Pinpoint Test B
A puddle lamp is inoperative or always on	Refer to the Pinpoint Test	GO to Pinpoint Test I

The ambient lighting does not cycle through all color combinations	Overhead console	NOTE: Make sure that the ambient lighting has not been placed in "search mode" using the ambient lighting switch on the right. This places the ambient lighting in a "white light" setting and does not allow the color to change. The ambient lighting switch on the left is used to cycle through the different color variations. INSTALL a new overhead console. Refer to: Overhead Console .
The ambient lighting brightness setting cannot be changed	Overhead console	INSTALL a new overhead console. Refer to: Overhead Console .
