Ignition Coil-On-Plug: Installation
Both sides

Inspect the ignition coil-on-plugs. Replace any of the ignition coil-on-plugs, that are damaged, that have seals or rubber boots with cracks, rips or tears.

Install the ignition coil-on-plugs, then install and tighten the ignition coil-on-plug retaining bolts in the following 2 stages.Torque:
Stage 1: 62 lb.in (7 Nm)
Stage 2: 47.5°

Connect the ignition coil-on-plug electrical connectors.

Right side
- 3.NOTE: Align the index marks for the CAC tube.
Install the turbocharger outlet pipe to the turbocharger and then tighten the turbocharger outlet pipe clamp. Connect the RH turbocharger bypass valve hose. Connect the RH turbocharger bypass valve electrical connector.
Torque
: 44 lb.in (5 Nm)

Install and then tighten the CAC tube nut to the intake manifold. Connect the turbocharger wastegate regulating valve hose to the CAC tube.Torque
: 53 lb.in (6 Nm)
- 5.NOTE: Align the index marks for the CAC tube.
Install the CAC tube, and then tighten the CAC tube clamp. Connect the LH turbocharger bypass valve electrical connector and the turbocharger bypass valve hose.
Torque
: 44 lb.in (5 Nm)
Left side
- 6.NOTE: When removing or installing the high-pressure fuel pump noise insulator, spreading the openings will reduce the risk of damage.
Install the high-pressure fuel pump noise insulator.
- 7.
Connect the crankcase vent hose quick release coupling. Refer to: Quick Release Coupling .
