Removal And Installation

    NOTE: If installing a new module, it is necessary to upload the module configuration information to the scan tool prior to removing the module. This information must be downloaded into the new module after installation.

    Using a diagnostic scan tool, begin the Programmable Module Installation (PMI) process for the Front Controls Interface Module (FCIM) following the on-screen instructions.

    Remove the instrument panel lower trim panel.

    Remove the two bolts and the FCIM.
    • Disconnect the electrical connector.
    • To install, tighten to 2.5 Nm (23 lb-in).

  1. 4.

    To install, reverse the removal procedure.
    • Using a diagnostic scan tool, complete the PMI process for the FCIM following the on-screen instructions.
