Gearshift Lever: Installation

Install the gearshift lever and the 4 gearshift lever nuts.
- Tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).

Connect the RCM electrical connector.

Install the wiring harness to the gearshift lever base.

Install the gearshift cables.

Install the floor console. For additional information, refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL AND CONSOLE .
Repower the Supplemental Restraint System (SRS). For additional information, refer to SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM .
Adjust the gearshift mechanism. For additional information, refer to MANUAL TRANSAXLE/TRANSMISSION AND CLUTCH - GENERAL INFORMATION .
