Diagnostic Overview

The Heated Seats are Inoperative - Driver and Passenger

Refer to Wiring Diagram Set 119 for schematic and connector information Electrical Diagrams.

Normal Operation and Fault Conditions

Only the heated seat control switch and power feed circuit are common to both the driver and passenger heated seats. REFER to Heated Seats .

Visual Inspection and Diagnostic Pre-Checks

Verify BCM (Body Control Module) fuse 85 (7.5A) is OK.

Pinpoint Test

1. CHECK FOR VOLTAGE TO THE SEAT HEATER SWITCH

1. Ignition OFF.

2. Disconnect: Driver Seat Heater Switch.

3. Ignition ON.

4. Measure:





Is the voltage greater than 11 volts?
