EGR Tube: Service and Repair

Exhaust Manifold to Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Valve Tube - 4.6L

Removal and Installation

1. Remove the engine cover.

2. Disconnect the upper exhaust manifold-to-EGR system module tube fitting nut.
- To install, tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).


3. Disconnect the lower exhaust manifold-to-EGR system module tube fitting nut. Remove the EGR system module tube.
- To install, tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).


4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
