Removal And Installation

  1. Remove the bolts and the accelerator control splash shield.

    • To install, tighten to 3 Nm (27 lb-in).
  2. Disconnect the accelerator cable from the throttle lever.

  3. Depress the tabs and remove the accelerator cable from the intake manifold.

  4. Disconnect the accelerator cable from the accelerator pedal and shaft.

  5. Depress the tabs and remove the accelerator cable.

  6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
