NOTE: Network Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) (U-codes) are often a result of intermittent concerns such as damaged wiring or low battery voltage occurrences. Lost Communication Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) set in a module that is reporting a communication fault from another module on the data bus. The module that reports the fault is not the problem module.

U3000:49	Control Module: Internal Electronic Failure	This Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) sets when the All Terrain Control Module (ATCM) switch is between detents. ROTATE the knob to the next detent, CYCLE the ignition RUN/OFF/RUN. ROTATE through all 4 Terrain Modes, staying in each mode for at least 1 minute. CLEAR Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) and CARRY OUT All Terrain Control Module (ATCM) Self-Test. If Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) U3000:49 returns, INSTALL a new All Terrain Control Module (ATCM). REFER to All Terrain Control Module (ATCM) .
