INTERMITTENT COLD TEMPERATURE GAUGE
READING AFTER HOT SOAK RESTART - BUILT ON
OR BEFORE 8/11/2011

ISSUE
Some 2011 Edge, MKX and Explorer vehicles built on or before 8/11/2011 may exhibit cold engine temperature gauge readings after hot soak restart. This issue is only present on base instrument panel cluster (IPC) (non-MyFord Touch). A base IPC can be identified by a single liquid crystal display (LCD) display in the center.

ACTION
Reprogram the IPC module to the latest calibration using IDS release 76.03 and higher. This new calibration is not included in the 2011.11 DVD. Calibration files may also be obtained at the website.
