Test M: Panic Feature Is Inoperative/Does Not Operate Correctly

PINPOINT TEST M: PANIC FEATURE IS INOPERATIVE/DOES NOT OPERATE CORRECTLY

M1-M6:

M7-M11:

M12-M14:

Normal Operation
The panic alarm is accomplished by the smart junction box (SJB) receiving a command from the remote keyless entry (RKE) transmitter located on the integrated key. The SJB sends a signal directly to the horns and the turn signal lamps providing an audible and visual alarm.

All RKE transmitters must be present to begin diagnosis of the RKE system.

Aftermarket or dealer-installed systems may adversely affect the RKE system operation. These should be disconnected before diagnosing the RKE concerns.

Possible Causes
- RKE transmitter
- horns
- turn signal lamps
- SJB
