Differential Fluid Seals: Installation

  1. Using the Halfshaft Output Fluid Seal Installer (307-157), install the LH differential seal. See Fig 1.
  2. Using the Output Shaft Fluid Seal Aligner (307-317) and the halfshaft output fluid seal installer, install the RH seal. See Fig 2.
  3. Install the axle shafts. See appropriate AXLE SHAFTS article in DRIVELINE/AXLES. Install the front wheels. Lower the vehicle.
