HEATER CORE HOUSING

DISASSEMBLY







1. Detach the floor level ventilation hose.
- Pull off the hose.







2. Separate the heater/heat exchanger housing parts.
- Undo the two bolts.
- Undo seven retaining tangs.







3. Remove the heat exchanger.







4. Pull out the heat exchanger.







5. Separate the heater/blower housing parts.
1 Undo the two bolts.
2 Undo four retaining tangs.







6. Separate the blower/recirculated air housing parts.
- Undo nine retaining tangs.







7. Dismantle the air recirculation housing.
- Release the five retaining tabs.







8. Remove the air deflector.







9. Separate the heater/evaporator housing.
- Undo 11 retaining tangs.

ASSEMBLY

1. NOTE:
- When assembling, ensure that the guide pins are seated correctly.
- Replacement steel clips must be used if the housing is not properly sealed after assembly or the retaining tangs are broken.

Assemble the components in the reverse order.
