Compass Sensor Module

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Lincoln Navigator and 2002 Ford Expedition. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
NOTE: Always check compass zone and calibration adjustments before replacing compass sensor module. See ADJUSTMENTS .
NOTE: Compass Sensor Module is part of rear view mirror assembly. If replacement is needed, the entire rear view mirror assembly must be replaced.

Disconnect electrical sensor. Position rear view mirror in full down position. Pull down on mirror assembly until it detaches completely from windshield. To install, reverse removal procedure.
