Battery Cable: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery cables.







2. Remove the battery ground cable screw.
3. Remove the four pin-type retainers and position the upper radiator air deflector aside.







4. Remove the bolts and position the radiator support bracket aside.







5. Remove the pin-type retainers from along the top of the radiator support bracket and remove the nuts.







6. Remove the pin-type retainer on the top of the LH frame rail.







7. Remove the bolt from the left front of the engine block.







8. Remove the RH battery cable harness.
1 Remove the nut and remove the positive starter cable and bracket.
2 Remove the stud and remove the ground cable eyelet.







9. Remove the screw.
10. Remove the starter motor solenoid terminal cover.







11. Disconnect the starter motor connections.
1 Remove the nut and disconnect the solenoid cable.
2 Remove the nut and disconnect the starter motor positive cable.

12. Remove the battery cable harness assembly.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
