Knock Sensor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

NOTE: The Knock Sensor (KS) is located on the RH side of the cylinder block.

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to Battery.
2. Raise the vehicle on a hoist. For additional information, refer to Maintenance/Service and Repair.







3. Disconnect the KS electrical connector.







4. Remove bolt and the KS.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
