Fuel Level Sensor

  1. Remove fuel level sensor and pump from fuel tank. Set float rod to lowest position. Measure resistance between Red and Black wire terminals of fuel level sensor and pump connector. Resistance should be 22.4 ohms.
  2. Slowly raise float rod to highest position. Resistance should be 145 ohms. If fuel level sensor does not operate as indicated, replace fuel level sensor.
