Diagnostic Monitor: Removal

  1. Diagnostic monitor has a Blue casing and is located underneath driver-side instrument panel near speed control amplifier. Before proceeding, see SERVICE PRECAUTIONS  .
  2. Disable SRS. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM  . Disconnect two diagnostic monitor connectors. See Figure . Slide diagnostic monitor out from mounting bracket, and remove monitor from vehicle.
