Line Pressure Test

  1. Connect a 0-300 psi (0-21.1 kg/cm2 ) pressure gauge to line pressure port tap on left side of transmission case forward of control lever. See Figure . Gauge hose must be long enough to read gauge while operating engine.
  2. With engine at normal operating temperature, apply parking and service brakes. Check line pressure at idle and WOT stall in all ranges. See CONTROL PRESSURE SPECIFICATIONS  . If pressure is not as specified, perform EPC PRESSURE CHECK  .
