Pinpoint Test C - Alarm Does Not Trigger/Reset Properly

Arm system with a front window down. Reach through window and open door using inside handle. If lights flash, horn sounds and indicator flashes, system is okay. Unlock door with key to stop alarm. If alarm does not trigger properly, go to next step.
Arm system with a front window down. Reach through window and open door using inside handle. If horn sounds, go to next step. If horn does not sound, go to step 10).
Trigger alarm. If taillights and parking lights flash, go to next step. If taillights and parking lights do not flash, check in-line fuse in Brown wire between anti-theft control module and headlight system.
With alarm triggered, check that indicator light flashes. If indicator light flashes, go to next step. If indicator light does not flash, replace indicator bulb. If bulb is okay, repair Dark Blue/Light Green wire between anti-theft control module and bulb.
With alarm triggered, check that low beam headlights flash. If lights flash, go to next step. If lights do not flash, repair headlight circuit (Red/Black wire).
With alarm triggered, check that vehicle does not start. If vehicle does not start, system is okay. Stop test and disarm system by unlocking door with key. If vehicle starts, go to next step.
Disconnect anti-theft control module from wiring harness. Measure resistance between harness connector pin No. 12 and pin No. 24. See Figure . If resistance is less than 100 ohms, repair shorted Red/Light Blue wire and White/Pink wire. If resistance is more than 100 ohms, replace anti-theft control module and go to next step.
Arm system. Open trunk lid. Short contacts of lock switch and check that system is triggered. If system triggers, system is okay. Stop test and disarm system by unlocking door with key. If system did not trigger, go to next step.
Using a voltmeter, measure voltage at pin No. 5 of anti-theft control module. If voltage is less than 2 volts, replace anti-theft control module and retest system. If voltage is more than 2 volts, check for open Tan/Light Green wire. If Tan/Light Green wire is okay, replace trunk lid lock cylinder and retest system.
Activate horn from steering wheel. If horn sounds, go to next step. If horn does not sound repair horn circuit, horn or horn relay.
Using voltmeter, check voltage at pin No. 18 of anti-theft control module. If voltage is less than 2 volts, repair open in Yellow/Light Green wire. Retest system. If voltage is more than 2 volts, replace anti-theft control module and go to next step.
Arm system with a front window down. Unlock door using remote keyless entry transmitter. Disarm alarm using key in front door. If alarm triggers and disarms, system is okay. If alarm does not trigger and disarm, go to next step.
Using a voltmeter, backprobe pin No. 6 of anti-theft control module and measure voltage. If voltage is less than one volt, replace anti-theft control module and retest system. If voltage is more than one volt, repair Dark Green/Purple wire between anti-theft control module and door disarm switches.
