Clutch Switch: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect wiring connector, then remove retaining pin from clutch pedal.
2. Remove clutch pedal position switch screw, then move switch inward to disengage actuating rod eyelet from clutch pedal pin and remove switch from vehicle.
3. Reverse procedure to install, noting following:
a. Always install clutch pedal position switch with self-adjusting clip about 1 inch from end of rod.
b. Clutch pedal must be fully up (clutch engaged), otherwise clutch pedal position switch may be misadjusted.
