- Key On.

- Scan tool, voltmeter and breakout box connected.

- Continue to monitor PIDs/circuits.

- Turn output On.

- Wiggle, push and pull on the component wire (VPWR and signal) from the component back to the PCM connector.

- Was the voltage steady and less than 1 volt?

Yes -- Unable to verify fault. RETURN to Z1 and choose another procedure. Z1 - Intermittent Test Procedure

No -- Possible wiring problem. CHECK each wire for corrosion, bent or loose terminals. SERVICE as necessary. VERIFY repair.
