Removal & Installation (Probe)
- Disconnect battery ground cable. Remove instrument cluster trim cover and lower panel. See Figure . On vehicles with automatic transaxle, remove shift lock cable attaching bolt and disconnect cable from lock cylinder housing. Remove column lower panel.
- Remove column lower plate and side register duct. Remove tilt lever and housing (if equipped). Disconnect ignition switch electrical connector. Remove retainers to release connector from lock cylinder housing. Remove ignition switch from lock cylinder housing. To install, reverse removal procedure.
