Description & Operation: Operation: Mustang

Cooling fan system consists of a single-speed fan motor. Cooling fan operates only when ignition is on. Constant Control Relay Module (CCRM) and Powertrain Control Module (PCM) controls cooling fan.

Cooling fan turns on when engine coolant temperature is greater than 221°F (105°C), or when A/C is on and vehicle speed does not provide enough airflow. CCRM is located in engine compartment, near right shock tower. PCM is located in right kick panel.
