Air Management Solenoid

Faults in secondary air management solenoids or circuits should set a service code. See QUICK TEST in G - EEC-IV TESTS W/CODES article in the ENGINE PERFORMANCE Section. If service code has not been set, disconnect both solenoid harness connectors. Measure resistance across terminals. Resistance should be 50-100 ohms. If resistance is not as specified, replace solenoid. If resistance is as specified, see CIRCUIT TEST KC in G - EEC-IV TESTS W/CODES article in the ENGINE PERFORMANCE Section for additional circuit testing.
