Knock Sensor (KS)

REMOVAL

1. Disconnect negative battery cable.

Knock Sensor Removal:

2. Disconnect sensor electrical connector.
3. Remove sensor from engine block.

INSTALLATION

Knock Sensor Removal:

1. Install sensor to engine block.
2. Torque to 14 - 25 ft lb (20 - 30 Nm).
3. Connect sensor electrical connector.
4. Connect negative battery cable.
