July 1: So it begins. Don't worry, this is not in the correct legal jurisdiction!

Fuel Rails (1.8L & 1.9L): Removal

  1. Release fuel pressure. See FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE. Remove fuel supply and return lines. See FUEL LINE CONNECTOR. Remove negative battery cable. Remove injector wiring harness connectors.
  2. Remove fuel rail retaining bolts. Carefully disengage injectors from fuel rail. Disconnect vacuum line from fuel pressure regulator. Remove fuel rail assembly.
