Power Window Motor (Ranger): Installation

  1. Install new motor and drive assembly to regulator. Tighten motor retaining screws. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  2. Install motor and regulator assembly in door. See Fig 1 .
  3. Connect power window motor wiring, and battery ground cable.
  4. Check window operation.
  5. Make sure door drain holes are open.
  6. Install watershield and trim panel. See DOOR TRIM PANEL  .
