Choke Cap Continuity
- With ignition off, connect a test light between battery positive terminal and choke cap terminal. Test light should light, indicating continuity. If test light is on, perform appropriate CIRCUIT CONTINUITY test.
- If test light is not on, connect a jumper wire between choke cap clamp shroud and battery negative terminal. Connect test light between battery positive terminal and choke cap terminal. If test light is on, replace choke cap.
- If test light is not on, connect a jumper wire directly to choke cap ground. If test light is on, correct poor contact between choke cap clamp shroud and choke cap ground.
