Wait-To-Start Lamp Test A - Lamp Does Not Light
- Remove bulb from Wait-To-Start indicator and test bulb. If bulb is not ok, replace bulb and repeat Wait-To-Start Lamp Trouble Shooting. If bulb is ok, reinstall bulb and proceed with test.
- Disconnect harness from lamp latching relay. Install jumper wire between connector pin 5 and ground. Turn ignition on. If lamp does not light, turn ignition off and repair wiring between ignition switch and lamp or between lamp and latching relay, then repeat trouble shooting procedure. If lamp lights, proceed with test.
- Install between latching relay connector terminals 5 and 3. Turn ignition on. If lamp does not light, turn key off, repair latching relay ground connection and repeat trouble shooting procedure. If lamp lights, replace latching relay and repeat trouble shooting procedure.
