The Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) air bag system and seat belt utilize conventional technologies. Also, multi-stage deploying is adopted for the driver and passenger airbags.

The driver-side air bag module engages with the snap springs of the driver-side air bag module and the tabs of the steering wheel.
