SKIM Theft Alarm System

Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC). Go to ENGINE, MISC. Using appropriate PIN code for this vehicle, place SKIM in Secured Access mode. Select UPDATE SECRET KEY DATA. Data will be transferred from SKIM to PCM.

Inspect vehicle to ensure all engine components are connected. Reassemble and reconnect components as necessary. Inspect engine oil for fuel contamination. Change oil and filter as necessary. Attempt to start engine.

If engine does not start, check for Technical Service Bulletins (TSBs) that apply to vehicle and return to DTC TEST, if necessary. Repair is complete.
