Test 113A - Battery Power To Module Disconnected

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 1995 Eagle Vision, 1995 Dodge Intrepid, 1995 Chrysler New Yorker, 1995 Chrysler LHS, and 1995 Chrysler Concorde. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
NOTE: Perform TEST 1B before proceeding with this test.
  1. Ensure ignition is off. Disconnect BCM Bone connector. Using DRB voltmeter, probe BCM Bone connector terminal No. 19 (Pink wire). If voltage is greater than 10 volts, go to next step. If voltage is less than 10 volts, repair open Pink wire between BCM Bone connector and junction block. Perform VERIFICATION TEST .
  2. Using DRB ohmmeter, probe BCM Bone connector terminal No. 21 (Black wire). If resistance is less than 5 ohms, go to next step. If resistance is greater than 5 ohms, repair open Black wire between BCM Bone connector and ground. Perform VERIFICATION TEST .
  3. Using DRB ohmmeter, probe BCM Bone connector terminal No. 14 (Black/Light Green wire). If resistance is less than 100 ohms, go to next step. If resistance is greater than 100 ohms, repair open Black/Light Green wire between BCM Bone connector and ground. Perform VERIFICATION TEST .
  4. Using external ohmmeter, backprobe DLC terminal No. 6 (Violet/Brown wire) and BCM Bone connector terminal No. 8 (Violet/Brown wire). If resistance is less than 5 ohms, go to next step. If resistance is greater than 5 ohms, repair open Violet/Brown wire between DLC and BCM Bone connector.
  5. Using external ohmmeter, backprobe DLC terminal No. 3 (White/Black wire) and BCM Bone connector terminal No. 7 (White/Black wire). If resistance is less than 5 ohms, replace BCM. Perform VERIFICATION TEST . If resistance is greater than 5 ohms, repair open White/Black wire between DLC and BCM Bone connector. Perform VERIFICATION TEST .
