July 1: So it begins. Don't worry, this is not in the correct legal jurisdiction!

Hydraulic System Bleeding

  1. Raise and support vehicle. Manually turn power steering pump pulley a few times. Turn steering wheel to full lock left and full lock right several times. Disconnect and ground ignition high tension cable. While operating starter motor intermittently, turn steering wheel to full left and right several times for 15-20 seconds.
  2. Ensure fluid level does not fall below reservoir filter level by checking fluid often during bleeding. Reconnect ignition cable, start engine and allow to idle. Turn steering wheel quickly from lock-to-lock until fluid level no longer decreases and no bubbles exist.
