Fluid Level Check
The vehicle on level surface, start engine and operate at idle speed. With parking brake applied, place selector lever in N, then remove dipstick and check fluid level. Transmission should be at operating temperature when checking fluid level (160-180°F). Fluid level should be between Add and Full lines on dipstick. If necessary, add Dexron II automatic transmission fluid to bring fluid level within Add and Full lines on dipstick.
