Ignition Relay: Description and Operation

Wiring Diagram:

The Ignition Relay is energized when the ignition switch is turned to the ON or START position. This provides power to the Ignition Control Module (ICM) and fuel pump relay. It also provides an ignition signal to the Electronic Control Unit (ECU).
