Transfer Case Shift Motor Replacement

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect shift motor link from range lever. Remove and discard lever grommet.
2. Remove nut and bolt that attach shift motor bracket to transfer case and remove bracket and motor assembly from transfer case.
3. Slide shift motor boot aside and remove E-ring that retains motor in bracket and remove motor.



INSTALLATION
1. Position motor in bracket and install E-ring.
2. Install boot if removed.
3. Position motor and bracket assembly on transfer case and install bracket attaching nut and bolt.
4.
Install replacement grommet in range lever and connect shift motor link to transfer case range lever.
