Remove the air inlet tube.

Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
If equipped, remove the belly pan.

Partially drain the radiator. Refer to Standard Procedure .
Remove the serpentine belt. Refer to BELT, Serpentine, Removal .

Remove the bottom generator mounting retainer (2).

Remove the radiator support shroud.

Disconnect the hood release cable.

Remove the retainer and position aside the power steering reservoir.

Remove the radiator core support.

Position aside the A/C compressor.
Disconnect the upper radiator hose from the radiator.

Disconnect the electrical connector and the B+ from the generator.

Remove the upper generator mounting bolt.
Remove the generator.
