Fuel Injectors

Disconnect Fuel Injector harness connector. Connect an ohmmeter between Fuel Injector terminals. Resistance should be about 10.8-13.2 ohms at 68°F (20°C). If resistance is not as specified, replace Fuel Injector. Perform POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST VER-1 (JTEC)  or POWERTRAIN VERIFICATION TEST VER-1 (NGC)  under VERIFICATION TESTS. If resistance is as specified, perform appropriate Fuel Injector circuit test. See SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM in SELF-DIAGNOSTICS - DAKOTA, SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM in SELF-DIAGNOSTICS - DURANGO - JTEC or SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM in SELF-DIAGNOSTICS - DURANGO - NGC article.
