Removal & Installation

NOTE: The TPS is attached to left throttle body.
  1. Disconnect TPS electrical connector. Remove TPS mounting screws. Remove TPS.
    NOTE: The throttle shaft end of throttle body slides into a socket in TPS. See Fig 1. When indexed correctly, TPS can rotate a few degrees to line up mounting screw holes with screw holes in throttle body. If sensor will not rotate into place, install sensor with throttle shaft on other side of socket tangs. The TPS has slight tension when rotated to align mounting holes.
  2. Install TPS and mounting screws. Attach electrical connector to TPS.
