July 1: So it begins. Don't worry, this is not in the correct legal jurisdiction!

RESUME/CANCEL/DECEL Switch

  1. Remove speed control RESUME/CANCEL/DECEL switch assembly. See SPEED CONTROL SWITCHES under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Disconnect 2-pin switch connector. Using an ohmmeter, check resistance between switch pins. See Figure. No continuity should be present.
  2. With ohmmeter leads in same position, press RESUME/ACCEL button. Ohmmeter should indicate 15,246.0-15,554.0 ohms. Press CANCEL button. Ohmmeter should indicate 899.0-919.0 ohms. Press DECEL button. Ohmmeter should indicate 2910.0-2970.0 ohms. If resistance is not as specified, replace RESUME/CANCEL/DECEL switch assembly.
